Kim Seul Gi is a South Korean actress from Busan who aspired to be a professional actress from a young age. She attended the Seoul Institute of the Arts and was recruited to tvN's "Saturday Night Live Korea" in mid-2011. SNL Korea significantly increased her popularity over the next few years until she left the show in 2013. Since then, Seul Gi has starred in a vast number of television series, movies, variety shows, and music videos.
APAN Star Awards and the KBS Drama Awards both awarded her Best New Actress in 2014 for her role in Discovery of Love. Since then, she has been nominated and won awards for many different roles.
