Ek Villain Returns present you the story of a serial killer, after 8 years Rakesh Mahadkar reigned dread on Mumbai. The Villain in this story makes use of the matching cover, The smiley mask, but there's a story in connecting all this, The story of two men and their one-sided Love. In the end, it is their decisions and the way they take that will resolve who is the Hero and who is the Villain of this story.

With Disha Patani, John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor and Tara Sutaria in leading Roles, The movie has a plot to offer that hold back bringing twists and turns. Everything in this story is how Mohit Suri makes movies, but a lot of it does not take a seat very well with us. Given the Movie is a sequel to a film that enjoys a fan Base, one begins to query if this will Live up to that in the first Place.

Who the Villain of this movie is query we come to know in the First Half of the movie, and it keeps you attached. Somehow, the plot after the interval seems to be a little much stretched, Even though the film's runtime isn't too much. In the last 10-15 minutes of the movie, everything untwist clearly, and while it might blow one's mind, we have our hesitancy about what reason would it be for.

In the middle of this film's plot is a disfigure brat Gautam Mehta (Arjun), A struggling singer attempt to find her footing -Aarvi (Tara), Bhairav (John) and Rasika Disha. What works Good for me is the story of Gautam and Aarvi, For it has some high points, a satisfactorily packed plot with not many inadequacy, and their own Moments here and there.

On the other hand, There's also the savior of those who've Loved and lost in their one-sided Love stories, but to what expanse would he go for it? Only time will tell! Whether we want to know that or not is a dissimilar story altogether though. Generally, the film manages to conect the dots to make sense of The plot that forms the base of this whole movie, and one might have mixed feels about it, That is one of the few things Which works for this Movie.

Overall, The movie does in reality rely on the film's existing fame to make it Watchable it's just enough for those who have wished to, But for the rest, it's not something one could try to appreciate!
