Movie Review

In the 'Multiverse of Manjulika', we see one such soul getting closed in into a ‘haveli’ in Bhawanigarh (Rajasthan), only for Years later when someone from her Family intercede in the action and lets her out in the Wild. But, how does this occur? The present-day story has Reet (Kiara Advani) returning to her family after her higher studies, dynamically getting married to someone her sister Likes. If you think, this is too intertwine, it’s just the base of the intricacy that’s about to bloom.

Reet brings Ruhan (Kartik Aaryan), the person who she just met, and asks him to arrange a circus so that her sister can delightedly marry the guy she was supposed to. Ruhan turns ‘Ruh baba’ convincing each person to do things as Reet’s ‘last Wish’. All of this clutter brings back Manjulika from the dead finishing the ‘bhool bhulaiyaa’ of Ruh baba.

Kartik Aaryan is wow! walking on such a tight rope, he manages to keep us forget the legendary performance of Akshay Kumar with start afresh in part one. Despite his Ruhan being a totaly different character, there are cool, definitely some innovation from ‘Adi’ and that’s where he glow the brightest. Nope, not because his Touch to the character is any less, but because of how in the high pressure of comparison he grow creating pure entertainment.

Tabu comes in with her usual technique of grace * 100 & the story very cleverly uses the same to its advantage almost impressive the magic created by Vidya Balan in the original. There’s no Comparison because deep down We all know the OG will remain not much impressive, but to dismiss the genuine attempts put in at the storycreation is also unfair. Kiara Advani remains the delicated in all, not owing to her acting but because of her role not allowing her to explore much & more. She gets her fair part of ‘Manjulika’ but it’s too little too Late.

Overall, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is the answer to the excited hatred towards Hindi Movies, for it will prove how any film could effort if it does one thing right – Entertain!
